Wolverhampton sent representatives to observe 23-year-old French and Ivorian defender Yllan Okou in mid-August. Okou rejected a transfer during the summer, despite interest from several European clubs, and remained with RAAL La Louvière. It is suggested that foreign teams could make another attempt to sign him in January. He joined his current club in August 2025 and his contract runs until June 2028.
