Moussa Diarra, a 25-year-old Malian and French defender from Alavés, will not be signing for Le Havre despite having arrived in the city on Friday. The former Toulouse player had validated his contract with the Norman club after Alavés and Le Havre reached a transfer agreement in the preceding hours. Although the defender passed his medical examination without any issues, the deal did not proceed because intermediaries tried to change the initial financial agreements. This late increase was not accepted by Le Havre's management, who subsequently ended the process. Diarra, who has been capped five times by Mali, joined Alavés in July 2024 and his contract runs until June 30, 2028. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €2.00m.
