The London club considers Caicedo, whose contract runs until 2031, to be an integral part of their project and a player to build their team around. Chelsea signed him from Brighton for £115 million in 2023, a fee now seen as a bargain, and would look for a huge profit if they were ever to sell him. According to Pete O’Rourke via Football Insider, Chelsea would demand a fee well in excess of £115 million to even contemplate a sale. His current market value, according to Transfermarkt, is €90 million.
