Slobodna Dalmacija reports that Mihael Žaper, a 27-year-old Croatian midfielder and former captain of Osijek, is likely to transfer to Slaven Belupo on loan. It was known that Hajduk was searching for a win-win situation for Žaper, with loan options being frequently mentioned. Besides Slaven Belupo, Lokomotiva and Varaždin were also interested. Žaper's contract with Hajduk is set to expire in 2028 and his current market value is €1.5 million, according to Transfermarkt.
