Ivan Radeljić said he was contacted regarding the loan of Marin Skelin from Hajduk to Slaven Belupo and expressed regret that it did not happen. He stated that Skelin would have been an excellent addition at Slaven Belupo under Čabraja and would have played, but the move did not happen.

Index.hr reported that Marino Skelin's transfer to Slaven Belupo unexpectedly failed. Although on Monday the transfer seemed nearly complete, it ultimately was not finalized.

Marino Skelin, a 19-year-old defender from Hajduk, will join Slaven Belupo on loan after an agreement was reached between the clubs. Hajduk had been seeking an opportunity for Skelin to gain consistent playing time, after a previous option for him to move to Rudeš did not proceed. Skelin, who has made 12 official appearances for the first team, extended his contract with Hajduk until the summer of 2028.
