Michael Gregoritsch Transfer from SC Freiburg to Borussia Mönchengladbach

Michael Gregoritsch, who had a challenging season at SC Freiburg, is open to staying with the club. He mentioned in an interview with ORF that he has the confidence to establish himself at Freiburg and play 25 games from the start. Despite his contract expiring next year, Borussia Mönchengladbach is interested in the Austrian player. Gregoritsch is engaged in 'cool and open talks' with SC Freiburg regarding his future. Last season, he scored only three goals and made one assist in 23 appearances, which he admitted was not satisfactory.

Michael Gregoritsch, currently with SC Freiburg, is reportedly dissatisfied with his position as a substitute under the management of Julian Schuster. With only a year left on his contract, Borussia Mönchengladbach is considering him as a possible replacement for the injured Tim Kleindienst, who will be sidelined for four months due to a meniscus injury. Gregoritsch, who has spent three years at Freiburg, predominantly came off the bench last season, scoring just three goals and registering one assist across 23 appearances. This potential transfer might allow Gregoritsch to take on a more prominent role at Gladbach, which would be his eighth club in Germany following previous engagements with TSG Hoffenheim, FC St. Pauli, VfL Bochum, Hamburger SV, FC Augsburg, FC Schalke, and SC Freiburg.
