According to Voetbal International, European top clubs are monitoring Meerdink. Meerdink is expected to be sold this or next summer.

Mexx Meerdink is attracting interest from the top clubs in Spain. His agent, Guido Albers, mentioned on Goedemorgen Eredivisie that many clubs are calling for the AZ striker. Albers highlighted that these clubs see Meerdink as a potential first-team striker and prefer to acquire him at a young age to develop him, rather than buying him later for a higher price.
