Austrian top-flight club SK Sturm Graz is intensively trying to sign 27-year-old Mërgim Berisha from TSG Hoffenheim, which could see the player return to Austria. In the recent past, FC Augsburg was also reported to have an interest in the forward. The two-time German international, who joined Hoffenheim in August 2023, is not part of the plans of Hoffenheim coach Christian Ilzer and has not been named in the squad once this season. The right-footed player's contract in Kraichgau is valid until 2027. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value to be €2.50m.
