Dutch defender Maxim Dekker, 22, might leave AZ, as La Liga club Elche has contacted the club in Alkmaar to express interest. The potential move is prompted by the report that Dekker, similar to another player at the club, does not have a future at AZ. His contract is valid until 2029. He joined AZ in July 2022. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €650k. Dekker has also been capped twice for the Netherlands U21 team, scoring one goal.
