According to The Sheffield Star, Middlesbrough have shown interest in 29-year-old English defender Max Lowe, who is out of contract at Sheffield Wednesday this summer. The report also indicates that Leicester City, Derby, and Stoke are also interested in the defender, and that his current club, Sheffield Wednesday, would like to retain him. Lowe joined Sheffield Wednesday in July 2024 and has 6 caps for the England U20 team. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €2.20m.
