Matvey Safonov, a 26-year-old Russian goalkeeper under contract at Paris Saint-Germain until 2029, has publicly stated he will consider his future when the transfer window opens due to his lack of playing time. According to the Russian media outlet Sport24, Valencia is interested in loaning the goalkeeper. The same source indicates that the Portuguese clubs Sporting Braga and Sporting Portugal are also interested in a loan deal. The Russian international, who joined the French club in July 2024, has 16 caps for his country. His current market value is €18.00m, according to Transfermarkt.
