Nicolo Schira reports that talks have been opened by Cagliari for free agent Matteo Darmian. Negotiations have commenced for a deal lasting until 2027.

Italian right-back Matteo Darmian, 36, has been offered to Cagliari and proposed to Torino as a free agent. The veteran defender has 46 caps for Italy, and his current market value is €1.40m, according to Transfermarkt.
