Miljevic is a 24-year-old United States international midfielder from Huracán. Huracán wants any club interested in Miljevic to pay approximately five million dollars. Racing has not yet made a formal offer but is optimistic about finalizing the agreement for a lower price. Racing considers Miljevic to have resale value because of his age. The club also considers that he could gain exposure from the World Cup if Mauricio Pochettino calls him up for the United States. The Racing board has initiated discussions with Miljevic's representatives, and the proposed contract would be for four years. The midfielder has reportedly decided to play for Racing rather than Cruzeiro, considering the World Cup. Official negotiations between Racing and Huracán have not yet begun.
