TYC reports that Matías Bergara is required to return to Racing Club following his loan spell with Nueva Chicago. The conclusion of his one-year loan coincides with Nueva Chicago's relegation to Primera B Metropolitana. The forward originated from Nueva Chicago's youth academy and made his debut there before Racing secured his rights. During his loan, Bergara had a lack of consistent playing time, appearing in only eight of the 36 seasonal matches. He has been unavailable since September due to a hamstring injury.
