Polish goalkeeper Mateusz Lis, 28, confirmed that a potential transfer to Widzew Łódź during the winter window was a very serious possibility. The Göztepe goalkeeper explained that it was more likely he would join the club than not, but Widzew ultimately chose to sign Bartłomiej Drągowski. Lis's comments confirmed reports from Łukasz Olkowicz. The player revealed that after discussions had taken place, he was willing to make the transfer.
