Liverpool reportedly made contact in the final days of the transfer window to explore a potential deal, considering either a permanent signing or a buy-to-loan-back arrangement. However, Wolves insisted that the player was not available for transfer and refused to consider any possibility of him leaving. Sources informed TEAMtalk that Mané himself was not actively seeking a move but would have been open to it if Wolves had been willing to approve a transfer. Mané, who has two caps for Portugal U21, has a contract with the club until June 2029 and a current Transfermarkt market value of €20.00m. Reports from July 2026 cited a Wolverhampton asking price of £35 million and a potential Manchester United offer of £20 million, while earlier in February-March 2026, the club's asking price was reportedly in the £45-50 million range.
