Italian international centre-forward Mateo Retegui wants to return to Serie A, and his father has spoken with Milan and had direct contact with Juventus' sporting director. A potential move is complicated because Al-Qadisiya is not willing to let him leave on loan or for a reduced fee, with further obstacles being his high salary and a valuation of at least 40 million euros. Al-Qadisiya signed Retegui from Atalanta in July 2025 for a reported fee of €68.3 million, and in March 2026 there was a rumour of a potential future offer from Milan of at least €45-50 million.
