Gil Vicente has reached out to Real Betis to inquire about the possibility of loaning Mateo Flores. Flores is currently participating in preseason training with the first team, led by Manuel Pellegrini. In addition to Gil Vicente, there are three other clubs interested in securing Flores on loan. These clubs include Arouca, another team from Portugal, as well as Mirandés and Albacete, both competing in Spain's Second Division. Despite the fact that Flores recently extended his contract with Real Betis until 2029, he is expected to be loaned to a club in a higher league due to the stiff competition for midfield positions at Betis and the club's ongoing discussions to recruit additional midfielders.
