According to L'Equipe, Strasbourg are interested in signing Mateo del Blanco, who is expected to cost around €3 million. Strasbourg are not the only French club interested in signing him, as Lyon and Toulouse are also said to be monitoring the Argentine.

It is reported that Chelsea are close to finalizing a deal for Union Santa Fe's 22-year-old Argentinian left-back Mateo del Blanco. Del Blanco, who can also play on the wing, had previously attracted interest from Boca Juniors and River Plate, though neither was able to sign him this past winter. Upon his arrival at Chelsea in the summer, the plan is for him to be loaned to BlueCo sister club Strasbourg instead of immediately joining Chelsea's squad.
