TYC provides an update on the situation of Matko Miljevic, a 25-year-old American-Argentinian attacking midfielder, and his standing within the team. Matko Miljevic has lost his place under interim coach Chirola Romero, who has excluded him from the squad for three consecutive matches because of attitudes related to a lack of commitment. Miljevic is not expected to play for the remainder of the season. While the player reportedly wants to stay and compete for his position, there is a significant possibility he will meet with Diego Milito to negotiate his departure if he is not considered for the next season. A return to Huracán, where Miljevic previously performed at his best, is considered an ideal destination, but the final decision will be made by Diego Martínez. Miljevic joined Racing Club in January 2026, and his contract is valid until December 2029. In the 2025/2026 domestic league season, he made 24 appearances, scoring two goals and providing one assist. The United States international, who has 2 caps and 1 goal, has a current market value of €4.0M, according to Transfermarkt.
