This was confirmed by Werder's Head of Professional Football, Peter Niemeyer, to 'DeichStube': "His contract will be extended soon, and we are happy about it." Ducksch's current contract includes a clause for automatic extension until 2026 if he plays at least 45 minutes in 25 league matches this season. Currently, Ducksch has played in 23 matches and could reach this mark on April 13th in an away game against Stuttgart.

Marvin Ducksch's contract will automatically extend for another year until 2026 if he plays two more matches with at least 45 minutes each. There have been no discussions about his long-term future with the club yet.
