Marino Hinestroza Transfer from Atlético Nacional to Fluminense

Globo.com reported that Atlético Nacional requested 8 million US dollars and an exchange for Kevin Serna from Fluminense for the release of Marino Hinestroza. The discussions did not advance. The same report stated that Hinestroza was the primary target for Fluminense to replace Jhon Arias.

According to Futbolred, Marino Hinestroza's transfer to Fluminense has not been completed because the economic offer does not satisfy the demands of Atlético Nacional. Hinestroza did not report to the club's preseason training as a method to apply pressure on the negotiations for his departure. Atlético Nacional requires that any foreign club interested in Hinestroza must meet economic demands of approximately 6 million dollars.

According to Futbolred, Fluminense followed Marino Hinestroza's performance closely during the first half of the year.

Fluminense initially set their sights on Marino Hinestroza from Atlético Nacional, but negotiations fell through due to two demands from the Colombian club. Atlético Nacional wanted to keep the winger until the end of their Libertadores campaign, which would postpone his arrival until after August 19, and they also wanted to include Serna in the deal, a condition that was rejected by Fluminense's management and coach Renato Gaúcho. The 23-year-old Colombian is under contract with Atlético Nacional until December 31, 2027, and his market value is estimated at €6.00 million according to Transfermarkt. Several other clubs, such as Benfica and Boca Juniors, have also been recently associated with the player.
