Finnish international Marcus Forss is training with Bolton Wanderers without a contract after his deal with Middlesbrough expired, making him a free agent. Forss joined Bolton on loan last summer, making 18 appearances, which included nine starts, and scoring two goals before his spell was ended early by injury. It is not certain if Bolton will offer him a permanent contract or if the training arrangement is for mutual benefit before they part ways. A Bolton fan pundit suggested that there is no need to make a hasty decision on a deal for the 27-year-old. The pundit also added that Forss could be a good signing if he can demonstrate his fitness, and cited his Championship experience and versatility as useful attributes. As a free agent, Forss is able to discuss terms with any club, and Bolton are not required to make a decision before the 1 September transfer deadline.
