Although Brozović's contract with Al-Nassr is valid until the summer of 2026, the club indicated that parting ways might be the most suitable course of action. Brozović transferred to Al-Nassr from Inter Milan in June 2023, with a transfer fee of 15.7 million euros, drawn by an attractive salary exceeding 35 million euros annually, which positioned him as the highest-paid Croatian athlete. Despite having two years remaining on his contract, the club's management thinks that it would be advantageous for him to leave.
