Club Brugge has finalized a deal with Reims for the transfer of 19-year-old forward Mamadou Diakhon, with the fee reportedly just under 10 million euros. The young Franco-Senegalese has committed to a four-year contract and will immediately join the Blauw-Zwart squad. Diakhon made his debut in Ligue 1 in May 2023 against Olympique Lyon at the age of 17 and has accumulated 41 appearances for Reims. He signed his first professional contract with the French club last summer. Recognized for his potential, he is currently part of the France Under 20 team and debuted with France U18 in March 2023, where he scored a goal in a friendly match against Germany. The Belgian club anticipates that his value will grow over the years, potentially resulting in a significant capital gain.
