Mamadou Diakhon, a 20-year-old Senegal international winger, is on the shortlist of several clubs in England. It is reported that Premier League sides Everton and Crystal Palace, as well as Championship teams Ipswich and Middlesbrough, are hoping to sign him from Club Brugge. Diakhon is under contract with the Belgian club until mid-2029, and Club Brugge is said to be open to a transfer, but there is no agreement yet. Club Brugge is asking for a fee of 20 to 25 million, while it is reported that the interested Championship clubs are only willing to pay about half that amount. Diakhon joined Club Brugge from Reims in August 2025 for a reported fee of €8.5 million. According to Transfermarkt, he has a current market value of €9.00m.
