Magomed Kratov, a defender for Odesa's Chornomorets, had a trial with the German club Schalke. The trial came about after the club's scouts noticed the Ukrainian footballer during his vacation in Gelsenkirchen, which led to an invitation to train with the team. Kratov trained at Schalke for 10 days, working alongside the first team and the club's star, Edin Džeko. A contract with the German club was not signed.
