Several months ago, rumors emerged that Bayern Munich was monitoring KRC Genk's 17-year-old Belgian goalkeeper, Lucca Brughmans. It is now reported that Real Madrid is also interested in Brughmans. The Spanish club is said to consider him a potential successor to Thibaut Courtois and plans to monitor his progress before potentially acting. Brughmans, who joined Genk in July 2024, is under contract until June 2028. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €4.00m. He has also received two caps for the Belgium U19 national team.
