Lucas Noubi Transfer from Standard Liège to Deportivo La Coruña

Lucas Noubi, a talented defender from Standard, refused to extend his expiring contract and was sidelined early in the season. Despite being a promising talent and having debuted in 2022 at seventeen, he was banned from the A-team in October and only played for the U23 team. Recently, he was called up for the Jonge Duivels. According to Sacha Tavolieri, Noubi has now reached a full agreement with Deportivo La Coruña and will attempt to relaunch his career in Spain's second division next season.

Lucas Noubi, a 20-year-old defender and former Belgian youth international, is reportedly set to join Deportivo La Coruña. Noubi had been sidelined at Standard due to his refusal to extend his contract, which led to his exclusion from the first team. Despite being a promising talent with 45 appearances for Standard's first team and having represented Belgium in almost every youth category, he was removed from the main squad in October and relegated to playing with SL16 in the first national division. Although he was previously linked with Paderborn in Germany during the January transfer window, Noubi has chosen to move to Spain to continue his career. Deportivo La Coruña, a club that won the Spanish title in 2000 but has since fallen to the lower leagues, managed to secure their place in the second division last season by finishing sixteenth. Transfer watcher Matteo Moretto reported that Noubi is about to sign with Deportivo La Coruña.
