Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig, and several of Italy's large clubs are observing the situation of 20-year-old Swedish international Lucas Bergvall at Tottenham Hotspur. According to TEAMtalk, the midfielder is increasingly uncertain about his future. It is reported that his doubts are growing because of questions over his role under manager Roberto De Zerbi and the club's intention to sign new central midfielders. Sources have confirmed that interest from the continent has recently intensified. TEAMtalk has revealed that both Dortmund and Leipzig are among the clubs that most admire Bergvall, and that they believe he would be a good match for the Bundesliga because of his technical ability and athleticism. In Italy, Inter, AC Milan, and Napoli have been made aware of his situation. It is reported they would be interested if Tottenham showed a willingness to negotiate. Chelsea and Aston Villa have both made enquiries. Sources suggest a move to mainland Europe currently appeals more to Bergvall than remaining in the Premier League. Tottenham have not made the player available for sale and still consider him a significant talent, but he is questioning his place in the club's long-term plans. Bergvall has 12 caps for Sweden, is contracted until 2031, and contributed one goal and three assists in 23 Premier League appearances during the 2025/2026 season. It was reported that approaches of approximately £40 million were rejected in January 2026, before Tottenham set an asking price of over £57 million in February 2026.
