Sportske Novosti reported on Lovro Chelfi's transfer to Barcelona's youth team. The 18-year-old Croatian footballer moved from Croatian third-division club Kustošija to the youth team of the Spanish champions, Barcelona. The transfer was arranged by agent Andy Bara. Chelfi is expected to join Barca Atletic and start training on July 21 at the Joan Gamper training camp. He had advanced through the youth ranks of Dinamo Zagreb and the Croatian national team before joining a club in the western part of Zagreb. Despite having six or seven serious options, the choice was made to join Barcelona mainly due to their style of football. The financial details of the transfer have not been disclosed. Barcelona has yet to announce the transfer on their website, and a spokesperson has not responded to inquiries.

Lovro Chelfi, an 18-year-old offensive midfielder, has transferred from Kustošija in the Croatian third tier to Barcelona. Chelfi played last season in the SuperSport Second Football League, the third tier of Croatian football, as well as in the first junior league.
