The transfer fee is a fixed amount of just under €15 million, which could rise to a maximum of €17 million with bonuses. Leo Sauer is expected to sign a contract until 2031 and is traveling to Stuttgart for his medical. The report also states that Stuttgart prevented several late attempts by other clubs to secure the transfer and that Sebastian Hoeneß had a strong desire for the deal.
