Botafogo is loaning 25-year-old Brazilian goalkeeper Léo Linck to Estrela Amadora of Portugal. His departure is a result of increased competition for the position at the Brazilian club following the recent signings of goalkeepers Warleson and Gabriel Batista. The two clubs are finalizing the documentation for the one-year loan, which will include a purchase option. Léo Linck joined Botafogo in January of the previous year and made 30 appearances. His contract extends to the end of 2028. He has 3 caps for Brazil U20. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €2.50m.
