Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly interested in Auxerre striker Lassine Sinayoko, along with Championship sides Middlesbrough and Coventry City. The three English clubs are considering making offers for the 26-year-old Mali forward before the February 2nd deadline. In December, Manchester United were understood to have been in discussions at a late stage for Sinayoko. A report from Africa Foot suggested that at that time, they were close to a final agreement. His contract was scheduled to expire at the end of June, but the forward has since signed a one-year extension. The amount of money Auxerre will ask for is not known. Sinayoko has 20 caps and 6 goals for Mali. According to Transfermarkt, he has a current market value of €7.00m.
