Kwasi Sibo Transfer from Oviedo to Sevilla

The Ghanaian midfielder Kwasi Sibo is reportedly being targeted by Antonio Cordón, who is considering making an offer to Oviedo to acquire him. Sibo operates as a pivot in front of the defense and is familiar to Antonio Cordón from his time at Betis, where Sibo played in the reserves. He is an essential player for Paunovic in Oviedo's squad, which achieved promotion after 24 years in the Second Division. Sibo participated in 34 regular league matches and the four playoff matches for promotion. Journalist Eliberto Rodríguez reported that Sevilla has already contacted Oviedo to inquire about the conditions of a potential transfer. Sibo's transfer fee might exceed a million euros. Sevilla, following the recent departures of Saúl and Lokonga, is looking to strengthen its midfield options, where Agoumé, Sow, and Gudelj currently play. Meanwhile, Joan Jordán, also part of Sevilla's squad, is recovering from surgery and will be out for at least three months.
