Kusini Yengi Transfer from Aberdeen to Wigan Athletic
Aberdeen's 26-year-old Australian striker Kusini Yengi is a target for Rotherham United as the club seeks attacking reinforcements in January. Matt Hamshaw's side is set to compete with five other EFL clubs, including fellow League One teams Wigan Athletic, Stockport County, Blackpool, and Stevenage, who are also linked with a move for the striker. Yengi, who previously played in England for Portsmouth, has reportedly been frozen out at Aberdeen, having joined the club in July 2025. The forward has made four appearances in the Scottish Premiership this season without scoring, and has earned 11 caps and scored six goals for Australia. His contract with Aberdeen runs until May 2028, and his current market value is listed by Transfermarkt as €400k.
