However, according to ESPN and multiple sources around Ajax, the new coach John Heitinga has given him a chance to prove himself during the pre-season. Ajax has informed Kristian Hlynsson that he is not part of the plans for the next season and has instructed him to find a new team. This decision was communicated via WhatsApp by Sporting Director Alex Kroes.
