Premier League side Leeds United are interested in signing West Ham defender Konstantinos Mavropanos. The 28-year-old Greece international has 42 caps and 2 goals for his country and a contract until 2028. He wants to remain in the top flight, a level he has played at throughout his career since joining West Ham in August 2023. Leeds are seeking a replacement for the departing Pascal Struijk. For the recently relegated West Ham, a sale would be beneficial as they need to raise funds to begin their summer recruitment under Nuno Espirito Santo. The defender has also attracted interest from clubs including Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund. A transfer of Mavropanos is being considered, which would represent the one additional sale the club is thought to need after the expected departure of Crysencio Summerville. The move is seen as one that would be advantageous for all involved, allowing the defender to play at his desired level while West Ham could receive a significant fee.
