FC Lausanne-Sport has permanently signed central midfielder Koba Koindredi, who was on loan at the club in the 2024/25 season. The 24-year-old Frenchman has been given a three-year contract until June 30, 2029, following an agreement with Sporting CP, which he joined in January 2024. In the previous season, Koindredi was on loan at FC Basel. The player, who has 9 caps for the France U19 team, has a current market value of €3.00m, according to Transfermarkt. Sporting CP's initial acquisition cost in January 2024 was reportedly €4 million. It was reported in the summer of 2026 that FC Basel declined a €4 million purchase option for him. Other clubs, including Grasshopper, had also been linked with the player.
