According to The Express & Star’s Liam Keen, Ki-Jana Hoever is expected to leave Wolves this summer after being omitted from the club’s pre-season training camp in Portugal. Keen reports that both Wolves and the player are working towards securing a permanent move away from Molineux. Hoever has spent much of his Wolves career out on loan, playing for Stoke City, PSV Eindhoven and Sheffield United. His absence from the travelling squad is described as the strongest indication so far that Wolves are prepared to sell the 24-year-old this summer.

Ki-Jana Hoever is set to join AJ Auxerre on loan. The news was first reported by L'Équipe and has now been confirmed by Auxerre through their official channels. This will be the fourth loan spell for Hoever since joining Wolves for ten million euros from Liverpool in 2020. He has previously been loaned to PSV and Stoke City.
