Ki-Jana Hoever, a 24-year-old with both Dutch and Surinamese citizenship, is expected to leave Wolves and has been omitted from the club's pre-season trip to Portugal. The Dutch right-back has one year remaining on his contract at Molineux. He joined from Liverpool in 2020 for a fee of approximately £13.5 million and has made 33 first-team appearances. Hoever has received six caps for the Netherlands U21 team, for whom he has scored one goal. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €3.50m. A permanent exit is likely this summer, and Bristol City is a potential destination because the club has a vacancy at right-back following the departures of Mark Sykes and Ross McCrorie. Hoever, who has also been suggested as an alternative to Ipswich Town's Harry Clarke, is likely to be available for a reduced fee.
