The West Ham Way has reported that a Championship side is interested in signing Auxerre’s Kevin Danois. The midfielder's future is contingent on the French club's asking price of €25 million (£21.3 million), and it is not certain whether the Irons are willing to meet that figure. West Ham also faces competition from Bournemouth and Newcastle United to sign the player.

Kévin Danois, a 21-year-old French and Guadeloupean midfielder for Auxerre, is reportedly being considered for a move to England. West Ham are reportedly considering the France U21 international, who has two caps, to strengthen their midfield after Mateus Fernandes's departure. Despite having signed a new contract in October, Danois is also said to be a target for Newcastle United and Hull City. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt at €20 million. According to recent reports from July 2026, a €15 million offer from Hull City was rejected, and Auxerre is demanding €30 million. In June 2025, Auxerre also reportedly rejected an €11 million offer from AFC Bournemouth.
