Keshi Anderson leaving Birmingham City?
Keshi Anderson's contract at Birmingham City was terminated by mutual consent this week. Blues confirmed the cancellation on Wednesday. Last season, Anderson was a regular player, providing nine goals and eight assists in all competitions, but has been unable to replicate that performance in the Championship. The club agreed to release him six months before his contract was scheduled to expire. Chris Davies wished Keshi Anderson well for the future.
A permanent exit is suggested for 30-year-old English winger Keshi Anderson, who joined Blues on a free transfer in July 2023 and has struggled with injury issues and become a less preferred player for selection. Anderson is believed to be one of the club's lowest earners on £5,000 per week. His contract expires in June 2026, and his market value is €600k, according to Transfermarkt. In the 2025/2026 Championship season, he has made 19 appearances, scoring one goal.
