Samsunspor is reportedly another Turkish club interested in 28-year-old Iheanacho. Turkish media has mentioned the possibility of his move to Samsunspor alongside Besiktas. It is suggested in reports that Sevilla is considering either a transfer or loan for Iheanacho due to their need to reduce the wage bill. Iheanacho, who commands one of the highest salaries at Sevilla since his transfer from Leicester, has yet to score in LaLiga and is currently behind other forwards in the team hierarchy. Turkish clubs, including Samsunspor, are said to be preparing an offer in the range of 2 to 3 million euros for the Nigerian international. Before any transfer or loan can proceed, Sevilla is required to register Iheanacho in LaLiga, a responsibility that falls to their sporting director, Antonio Cordón, to fulfill before the end of August. Iheanacho's contract with Sevilla is valid until June 2026, and his current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt at €4.50 million.
