Gustaf Nilsson Transfer from Club Brugge to Samsunspor

Samsunspor reached an agreement with Club Brugge to loan Nilsson with an option to buy. However, Nilsson rejected the offer because he wants to stay at Club Brugge and play in the Champions League. The Samsunspor chairman confirmed the transfer is now definitively off.

Samsunspor is interested in acquiring Gustaf Nilsson from Club Brugge. Both clubs have reached an agreement for a loan with a purchase option. However, Nilsson is not convinced by Samsunspor's contract offer, so the deal is currently on hold. Samsunspor is expected to return with an improved contract proposal. The information was reported by transferwatcher Sacha Tavolieri.

Samsunspor is showing concrete interest in Gustaf Nilsson. A personal agreement has been reached with the player and his entourage regarding personal terms. Negotiations are ongoing between Samsunspor and Club Brugge for a loan with an option to buy. The main sticking point is the purchase option, which is currently too high for Samsunspor.

Club Brugge has informed Swedish striker Gustaf Nilsson, aged 28, that he is allowed to leave the club due to his position as the fourth choice striker, which has limited his playing opportunities. Samsunspor has shown interest in Nilsson, and the two clubs have begun negotiations for a loan deal with an option to purchase. Nilsson, who was previously acquired by Club Brugge for 6.3 million euros from Union SG, is now placed behind Romeo Vermant, Nicolo Tresoldi, and Kaye Furo in the team's hierarchy. Despite having a satisfactory first season, Nilsson is now deemed surplus to requirements, and the club is eager to offload him as part of their strategy to rectify past transfer errors. Nilsson's contract with the Belgian club is valid until June 30, 2028, and Transfermarkt currently estimates his market value to be €5 million.
