Chris Davies left German left-back Kai Wagner, 29, out of Wednesday’s friendly at Solihull Moors. Davies stated that the situations with Kai and Kyogo would become clearer in the next couple of days. He added that a few things had been happening in the background, which would become clearer in the next 48 hours, and that Wednesday was not a night to include them. The defender, who joined the club in January 2026 and has a contract until 2028, has been linked with a move to Philadelphia Union. Wagner has a current Transfermarkt market value of €2.20m.
