Globo.com reports that midfielder Sforza, 22, has become a regular starter during his loan at Talleres in Argentina. The loan was intended to provide him with more opportunities after he was no longer a regular player at Vasco in 2025 and did not please the coaching staff. His contract with Vasco is valid until the end of 2028, and the loan agreement with Talleres contains a purchase option.

Talleres and Vasco da Gama reached an agreement for midfielder Juan Sforza to join on a 12-month loan. The deal contains a purchase option of US$1.8 million for 50 percent of the player's rights. Sforza, a 23-year-old who developed at Newell's, has arrived in Córdoba to join the team managed by Carlos Tevez. He has experience with Argentina's youth national teams and won two South American Championships with the U-15 and U-17 teams. Sforza had a prior loan at Juventude in Brazil, where he played eight matches, and he made 44 appearances for his parent club, Vasco da Gama. In the same transfer window, San Lorenzo had also shown interest in Sforza before he joined Talleres.
