According to Sportske Novosti, Joško Gvardiol could leave Manchester City if the club is relegated or receives a heavy points deduction. There are no clauses in Gvardiol's contract for an automatic release or reduced compensation in the event of relegation. If a severe penalty is imposed between January and March, negotiations for player transfers, including Gvardiol, would begin soon after. Gvardiol has not taken any steps towards a future at another club and still sees his future at Manchester City. The amount Manchester City would demand would depend on the circumstances, with the price likely to decrease if the club is forced to sell.

According to Sportske Novosti, a set of disciplinary measures will prevent Manchester City from being in a prominent position until at least the 2029/30 season, which will inevitably cause top stars, such as Joško Gvardiol, to depart from the club.

SkySportDE exclusively revealed that Josko Gvardiol has agreed to a new contract with ManCity until 2031. Final details remain to be settled before the signing.

Joško Gvardiol, a Croatian international, has quickly established himself as one of the world's best players in the back position. He moved from Dinamo to RB Leipzig three years ago. He quickly established himself as one of the league's best players. He played as a left back in a three-man backline and had primarily defensive responsibilities, but also a considerable number of offensive tasks. Half a month later, Manchester City paid 90 million euros for him, making Gvardiol the most expensive defender in football history.
