Toronto have made contact with Norwich City for Josh Sargent and made an $18m bid, with talks between the clubs continuing. The player declared himself unavailable for an FA Cup match, telling manager Philippe Clement it was due to transfer-related matters, but Clement has stated Sargent will not leave. Premier League side Burnley are also interested, while Wolfsburg were reportedly close to an agreement in the summer for the forward, whose contract runs until June 2028.
