FC Twente has definitively acquired Jordy Bawuah from PSV. The nineteen-year-old midfielder has signed a contract at De Grolsch Veste until mid-2029, with an option for one more season. Jordy Bawuah signed a three-year contract in Enschede, which includes an option for an extra year. The technical manager, Erik ten Hag, described Jordy Bawuah as a talented strategic midfielder who is technically skilled and possesses defensive qualities suitable for his position. Last season, Jordy Bawuah played sixty matches for Jong PSV in the Keuken Kampioen Divisie and made one appearance for PSV 1. He expressed his intention to take the next step at FC Twente and his hope to get as many minutes as possible this season in both the Eredivisie and European competitions.

Jong PSV coach Stijn Schaars has commented on Jordy Bawuah nearing a move to FC Twente. Bawuah missed the Friday night match, and Schaars stated that although it was not ideal to lose players, the development was not a complete surprise.
